“Off Da Field”

Inspired by the dual nature of life as a former athlete. The two lives most of us have, our work life and our outside of work life. What makes us money (work life) and then what we spend it on (outside of work). Even if we’re just spending time on something, Time is money right?

My name is Tyler Hall — T Hall for short. I am the CEO/Founder of Off Da Field apparel. 

As a lifelong baseball player, I was always devoted to being the best athlete that I could be.

I was always on the field, that was my life. But as I grew older I realized I had more to give “Off Da Field” than on it.

As a young man who grew up with parents who lived very different lives outside of work I realized most people are waiting to leave work just to get their fix outside of work. Whether that be watching the game with your fiends or family, having a drink or a smoke, going to a nice restaurant for dinner, or even if it’s just catching up on sleep. We all have lives “Off Da Field” and they mean just as much to us if not more than what we do “On Da Field”.

For me, “Off Da Field” meant I was rapping or free-styling on beats to make my own songs because I didn’t want to wait on the next album or single from my favorite artist. I wish I started my “Off Da Field” journey when I was in high school but I was too busy “On Da Field”.

From youth ball to high school, college, and even pro baseball,  I realized I had been putting in a lot more hours “Off Da Field” than on it.

That’s how Off Da Field was born — a brand for people in their real lives, not just their every day work life.

Even when I started putting music out publicly, I didn’t know what to name my first album. But the only title that made sense was the one that had defined my life:

“Off Da Field.”
